Gideon

I don't have the power
I don't even have a clue
I don't have all the answers
I don't even have a few

But if I were really honest
And the truth were known of me
It might sound a little funny
But this is what my prayer would be

I don't know what to do
But my eyes are on You
I don't know what to do
But my eyes are on You

I lift my eyes toward the Heavens
Tune my ear to Your command
Help me boast in my condition
You're the God and I'm the man

-Jason Upton

I am in the midst of a lot of unknown, and that has brought out in me a sense of abandonment. Even a demanding of God to speak. Which by the way, He has chosen not to do. Perhaps because He knows that I'm seeking the answer above Him. And He wants me.
The song above, is called "Gideon (Valley/Victory)" and sits smack dab in the middle of Jason's album Faith. The album moves from start to finish as a journey, (as each of his do), and right now Faith is the guide I need to help me have the right conversations with God. This song is a one of those conversations.
